I know that the above quote is a quote from Charles Bukowski, but it perfectly expresses the attitude I’ve been trying to convey in my life. And I’m not just talking about the “best thing” in life because I can’t think of a better “best thing” than having a child.
Thats the best thing. If you are a parent, you are the best thing in life. Even if your child is half the person you were meant to be. If you are the child of someone you have no idea about, you are the person you were meant to be. And you can be the person you were meant to be. That is the most important thing in life.
