At first I might be a little mad that I have to wait a few more days to see if anything happens to it. But it’s like waiting for an important meeting. You wait for the meeting to start, but once it’s over you don’t wait for the meeting to end. You end it. I’m sure it will happen.
A good way to end a book is to take out the final character, or to have it become the last character in the story. That is exactly what happened to Deathloop. Deathloop closed the final chapter with a final message for the visionaries: “Your time is up. The sun is rising and the final death has begun.
You can’t lose a book. We can’t lose it. In Deathloop, all the characters are trapped in this one moment and just when you think you’re finally going to get through the ending, it ends.
In the last scene, at the end of it all, only Colt Vahn and The Visionaries are left standing. They’re just so relieved that their story is over. Of course, it’s only the last scene because the final battle between the players and the Visionaries (and the final ending) takes place in the game’s final act.
So yeah, the ending is over and really, really good. I am really looking forward to the next one.
