My advice is to not worry about whether or not you make more money in marketing than finance (if you’re looking to increase your income, that is. But you don’t have to worry about it, as long as you’re looking to increase your income).
In the finance world, if you are trying to increase your income then you have to put more effort into your marketing than you do in your finance, which is why the finance industry makes more money than marketing. I think it’s great that we have a world where people dont have to keep telling us to do our jobs. You have to do your job and you have to follow through on that job, otherwise you wont have a job or a career.
As long as you are working, you have to be putting in the effort and you have to be willing to do the things that make money. It might be hard to do every little bit you have to do, but the more effort you put in, the more you will be rewarded.
