One of the more common themes that I see in design is to give the user more options in choosing the color palette. I think in this case giving the user the ability to create the color palette themselves is a nice addition. They can choose a dark palette to use, or a bold palette to use, or a simple, clean palette. All will look great.
This is where many people get hung up. They ask, “Can I create my own color palette from scratch?” And the answer is, yes! You can. However, I think the difficulty comes from the fact that a lot of people don’t know how to do that. This is a really good post for people that want to know how to create the color palette.
