The plot-line of both the movies revolved around a lying husband and his suspicious wife. InCharlie Chaplin, Prabhu and actor Abhirami played the husband and spouse roles respectively. Though initially there is a mix-up, later Sara also reciprocates. Her doctor dad Ramakrishnan also agrees and the marriage date is mounted. Just a day before the wedding, a misunderstanding takes place that leaves the proposed marriage in jeopardy! Whether Thiru rectifies the error and enter into wedlock with Sara forms the reminder of this mindless comedy. Though the plot is old it does have the chance to offer laugh out loud moments which Shakti Chidambaram has did not capitalize on.
