It is never too late to start living a happy life. Here are five lifetime activities that can give you happiness now and for the rest of your life.
1) Plan an adventure trip.
2) Learn how to cook.
3) Learn how to play a musical instrument.
4) Start writing your memoirs or journaling about your thoughts and feelings everyday, like what makes you happy or sad or if there’s anything you’re grateful for today.
This will help clear out all those hidden emotions in the depths of our minds, which might be preventing us from being truly happy. Then at the end of each day write down three things that made me genuinely smile this day.
It doesn’t matter if it’s rainbows, a hug from your pet or just the fact that you can read this sentence. The first lifetime activity is to plan an adventure trip. On my last big one I went diving in Thailand and swam with whale sharks while they ate krill off the surface of the ocean for about 45 minutes (a really cool experience).
The water was so clear we could see their eyes close up through our masks. I also recommend going on a cruise around Australia where there are tons of adventures along the way- literally everything under the sun. From horseback riding tours to bungee jumping to sky diving over Sydney Harbor Bridge, it has something for everyone. Plus if you’re into surfing then spend three weeks exploring all points.
