Art block is a term I hear a lot, and I’m sure this has to do with the fact that it is a relatively new concept and that art block is an age-old problem. Art block is the term used to describe the lack of interest in art or the inability to create art. The term was first used in the book, The Art Block.
Art block is a frustrating issue, but it’s also a pretty obvious issue. The reason that many people lose their interest in art is because they have become so engrossed in other things. For many, this leads to a loss of self-awareness, and a lack of interest in creating art. It’s not necessarily about the act of creating art either, but rather the act of not creating art.
Art block is a term derived from the book, The Art Block: How the World’s Most Precious Art Is Lost and Found. In that book, Art is defined as “The act of creation.” It’s the act of creating something you want to create. It’s not about the act of creating art, it’s about the act of not creating art.
I was watching the new episode of The Office, and the main character, Dwight Schrute, was sitting in his art class, talking about the importance of art and how we each have a purpose for creation. The teacher asked him if he had a goal, and he said no, saying he just had things to say. He said that he wasn’t going to create anything, but rather he was going to “talk about art.
Yes, that makes sense. He’s telling us that he’s not going to create anything. He’s not going to create any art. He’s going to talk about art.
What happens when you stop talking about art and start talking about anything? It’s like the dialogue in a zombie movie, except with art. So he stops talking about art and starts talking about talking about art, and that’s where we are in this episode.
What happens when you stop talking about art and start talking about anything Is a zen state of being that everyone on earth seems to be in at the moment. It’s not just you, but everyone who is a part of the art community has to go through that. Thats what art block is. Its a state where you stop talking about art and start talking about everything else.
The thing about art block, and I’m not joking, is that it doesn’t require you to be as smart as the rest of the world. The only reason I can think of for anyone to go through it is if they want to be a part of the art community.
There are many ways to explain art block. I think most people would say that art block is a state in which you refuse to talk about art. I think most people would go one of two routes. You either go through art block (and maybe talk about art) or you don’t.
Some people do both.
