up thoughts for down times

I have this image of myself as a pretty, happy, carefree person, which I guess is kind of true. But I’m also a person who is very easily put in a bad mood, and that is something I’ve had to work hard to learn to accept.

We’re all different, but this is something that can seem pretty easy to be in a negative mood, and I guess it is, but it can be hard to learn how to deal with. I wish I could say I have all the answers for how to turn it off, but I’m at the point of being almost completely clueless.

I have a friend whose husband is in the same boat as me, so he has been doing a lot of “cognitive restructuring” as a result of his wife’s moodiness. He’s also been playing Call of Duty 2: Sons of Liberty, which is one of the things I usually play, and he’s really enjoying it.

I hate to admit it, but I think we all have the same problem, and its something that can be difficult to deal with. In fact, the only way to really be able to get out of the negative loop is to realize that there is no “negative” at all. Even when you’re in a negative mood, there is always a positive. So if you get too caught up in your thoughts and emotions, you’re going to be in a loop.

We all have negative feelings, but we can usually keep them under control. For instance, when I had a bad day at work, I would try to do all of the things I could to forget about it. I would get into all of the extra-fun and time-wasting activities that I could think of. I would also try to focus on the positive things that were going on in my life. This could be anything from eating healthier, seeing a movie, or getting up early.

In the same way that negative thoughts can be brought to a person’s attention, negative feelings can be brought to our attention too.

I think we’re doing a really great job of doing this in our society. We take the negative feelings we experience at work and take them to work. We can think about these things, and we can bring these feelings to our attention. That’s why I decided to take a break from writing blog posts for a few weeks. I had to let my emotions and thoughts come out in public. I wasn’t sure how or if I wanted to do that, but I decided to do just that.

I think the people who get the most benefits from this are the employees who are most aware of these emotions. A lot of them are actually happier because they realize they’re not the only ones who have these negative feelings. By getting this kind of feedback from other employees, they can go out and do something about their own negative feelings. Maybe it’s not a completely healthy thing to do, but it allows for a healthy outlet.

Maybe, but I think that when they do this, the employees who aren’t aware of their emotions are less likely to help their coworkers, and more likely to be toxic. So by sharing their negative feelings, they may actually be less valuable to those coworkers.

If you’re having a “down time” (which is what I would refer to this as), it’s a time when you feel like not working at your job. You go to work, and the work you do is important, but you just don’t have the energy. So why not take a nap? Maybe you’re a computer nerd and you want to get your computer to function as much as possible. But that doesn’t mean you should sit around and do nothing.
