I recently spent two weeks in a technology internship in Seattle. I’m not going to lie, I was a wreck before I left, and the trip was one of the highlights of my summer. I’ve been to plenty of internships or work-study programs, but nothing quite like this. The students have been so creative and resourceful, and it’s given me a lot to think about.
My friend Emily and I spent our last day on campus, talking about her internship, and how she got it, and all about how it was. She seemed pretty excited, and I think shes just as nervous as I was. Hopefully shes a little more confident now that she knows exactly what shes getting into. It was a pretty awesome experience.
Thanks to the work-study program, Emily had the opportunity to work with a lot of technology students. She was able to work on projects, and to interact with people who are more than just technology students. In fact, she was able to get a little taste of the real world and to meet people who really could help her succeed in this field. She seems to have really enjoyed it.
Also, she got to know the people that are going to be working in her internship. She seems to have gotten to know the people in the organization pretty well, and she seems to really like it. She seems to be very confident about her ability to succeed, which is exciting. It also gives her the opportunity to see how things work in a professional environment, which is also exciting.
Technology internships are a great way to learn about a company and how they do things. It also gives the student the opportunity to meet the people who are going to work for the company. I am so excited to see what she will experience in her internship.
The internships I’m thinking of here are a little different than a typical tech internship. I think the typical tech internships are a combination of working in a tech company, working on a project, and working in a consulting firm.
