But you don’t want to help people who can’t help themselves (or you). You want to help people who can help you. And here’s the rub. You don’t always get to decide who is capable of helping you. And if you’re in a position where you can’t help, you might as well just let them live their lives.
It is a fact that people who are in need tend to get help, but a lot of times that help comes from people who are incapable of helping themselves. And that is where the responsibility falls. In this case, it falls on Colt to decide whether he is capable of helping his friend.
I think Colt’s friend needs to get some help before he can take care of himself. So, I wrote a note on his behalf, asking him to send it to me. His response was that he doesnt know anything about what is wrong. I then asked him if he would like to speak with me, but he said he didnt know if he could.
