This is something that I have found interesting by doing a little research and reading up on the topic of synonyms. I’ve found that there are a few different categories that are used to explain synonyms. The term synonyms are often used to explain synonyms with the same root word, but not necessarily the same meaning.
Synonyms are the same as roots. They are words that stem from the same root word, but in different forms. For example, the word “anime” is an actual synonym of anima. But synonyms of that word are also known as “anime-like”.
