There are a lot of fiction writers out there who are making a living writing about how their life or work is different than yours. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it can lead people to believe that all fiction writers are the same. Sure, there are a few exceptions, but there are a lot of similarities between the writer’s life and yours so people will more likely believe that you are like them.
The problem is that fiction writers create stories that are essentially just a series of moments that happen in the author’s life. As such, the narrative of a story doesn’t tell the reader what happened in the author’s life. The author’s life is a blank slate. It’s interesting that most fiction writers have more or less similar stories, but because of the way their stories are written it’s easy to believe that its all the same.

Narrative fiction (fiction that is told from the perspective of a character, rather than a narrator) is not the same as prose fiction (fiction that is told from the perspective of an author, narrator, or character).
Narrative fiction is a genre that is defined by the form of the story telling itself. This means that fiction writers will use narrative elements and styles, and are more likely to include flashbacks and flashback stories, or to present a back story. In general, fiction writers tend to be more open/un-judgemental towards their characters, and are less likely to use dramatic hooks to keep their readers on the edge of their seats.

It’s a story about a person, place, or thing. So if you’re writing fiction, you have to be careful what you put in the story itself. You’re basically telling a story in a way that’s going to set you apart from other writers.
This is where narrative fiction examples come into play. A narrative fiction example is not a story that has a single linear progression of events. It is a story that has multiple different layers to it. In narrative fiction examples, some of the layers are more interesting than others. For example, the story might be about a murder, a plot twist that makes sense only once you read the story, or an event that you feel strongly about.

It could be the layers that you don’t think you would even get to because of the complexity of the story. In some cases, narrative fiction examples can be the opposite of what you expect. This is one of those times that I found myself thinking “what if?” when I came across a narrative fiction example. The idea of trying to write a crime story that is so interesting that it could never be told is exactly what I was thinking about today when I came across this example. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t write a story about a murder that is so fascinating that it can’t ever be told.
I think this is one of my favorite examples because it’s so specific. The author said that the story was a story about ‘a crime that could never be told’. I think if we look at this example, the crime was that there was a murder…
