It is because you can only have so much power. No one can take over your life completely, so you have to be aware of what you can do and what you cant do. You have to decide, where you are, and what you can do. Even if it is for a moment, you can use that to your advantage to be on your toes and not be caught off-guard.

But it has become a huge obstacle in our lives, especially when it comes to relationships, careers, and friendships. What seems like a simple concept, self-awareness, has become an all-consuming battle in our every day lives and it has become harder and harder to maintain.
Sure, we all have moments of self-awareness, but the problem isn’t just that it’s hard to hold on to it. Our brains are pretty good at recognizing and recognizing patterns.
