I am also a mom. I have been for over a year now. I have watched my daughter grow and change from a newborn to a toddler to a teenager, and I still can’t believe I am getting married. I have watched her graduate from high school, and then college, and graduate with honors. I have watched her face her first kiss and her first heartbreak. I have watched her find her way in the world, and I am so proud of her.
The thing is that I am having a baby. We are having a baby together. We are not married. We are not together. We are in the process of being together. We are so in love with each other that I don’t even think we are even technically “together.” But we are. We are having a baby together. That is so special to me.
I know this is a bit of a spoiler, but we have confirmed that we are indeed having a baby together. This is huge for us, and we couldn’t be happier. We can’t wait to share our first moments together with our new baby.
I just love that in the same breath as they are saying “our baby is so special to us,” they also say “we cant wait to share our first moments together.” Which is the exact opposite of what they said in the trailer. But I think this is what is so exciting about this trailer. It’s like a full-on love letter to our own baby. So awesome.
After all of the great things we’ve been saying about our baby for the past month and a half, its now official that our baby is going to be called “G.” We’re so excited to share our first moments with our new baby, however we have been having some really fun moments lately with our baby’s name.
This week, our babys name was revealed. Its G. The fact that we were planning on calling her G for the entire month of April, but that we couldn’t find the right words for her to use, was a really sweet little reminder that not everyone is going to find our name funny.
