how to write a comedy sketch

My friend, Chris Van Dyck, made me this list of tips and techniques to help me write more comedy.

Chris has a blog, Chris’s Blog, that has a lot of great tips and advice on how to write comedy.

One of my all-time favorite bits was in the first season of “The Office” where an old skag and a new skag were having a go at each other about who was the oldest. The old skag said, “I don’t care what you think, you old bag, I’m not letting you touch me, this is my last day. And if you don’t stand up for yourself, you’re going to live forever.

The old skag was a man, and he was a man in the sense that he was a normal, human person, but he was not a man because he was actually a skag…

I love this quote because it is so true. When we are in our twenties, we may be thinking, “I should be sitting at a desk in a corporate office, writing code, not fighting with a bunch of strangers over the best way to do something.” But the truth is, most of us never get to do that, so we end up fighting.

In fact, most of the comedy sketch we have seen all week has been a lot of fighting. And that’s why so many stand up comedians who are about to become legends in the comedy world are so great. They are simply able to write jokes that put people in the mood to fight.

That is one of the reasons comedy is so great. Most of us don’t have the time to sit and write jokes, but we have the ability to fight back. Comedy is a great outlet for this. It’s like a martial art, where the punches you land are only the ones you can see.

But that is not all. Another reason we love comedy is that it allows people to express themselves. If you cant laugh at a joke then you cant think. And think about that for a second. Most people are not allowed to express themselves in any other way than fighting each other. The only way you can express yourself is through fighting so thats why comedy is one of the great arts.

Comedy is also great because it lets you feel empowered. In a world where people feel like they cant exercise their mental muscles, comedy lets them express themselves and let them tell their own jokes. We are not saying that comedy is the only way to express yourself, but if you wish to do it then we would argue that it is a great choice.

As many of you know, this is not the first time I’ve watched a video about comedy. I used to be one of those people who would watch YouTube videos about comedy even to the point of making excuses to watch the videos. My bad for not being able to see them in full screen. In my defense, I never really understood the point of them at all.
