It’s not just the speed of the browser, though, its the speed of the extensions too. When you install an extension, the settings that come with it are stored in the extension’s extension data folder. These settings are stored in a file named “config.json” in the extension data folder.

The settings that come with extensions are saved in several files in the extensions folder. This is where you can set your default settings, change them, and even change them from the extension. For example, I had my default settings set to “off,” which was the default setting for Google Chrome. Then I went to chrome://settings/extensions and clicked on the “View” tab.
