This week on Gangbanged, I talked to one of my most favorite people on the planet, my friend Matt. Matt is a super-cool and creative person and he also happens to be a super-hustler. As you can imagine, he was happy to talk to me about his latest book, The Three Levels of Self-Awareness, and how he was working on the next book, but he wasn’t done yet.
Matt has long been fascinated by how the human mind works, especially when you use it for good. His latest book is about how to get a higher degree of self-awareness, and it’s only a matter of time before he gets to the next level as well.
Its a bit of a double-edged sword, though. It’s both possible and not so possible that you end up doing something that you regret. If you end up doing something you regret (and we’re going to discuss here why that might be the case), then you might end up regretting it for the rest of your life and that would be a sad state of affairs. However, if you don’t, then you’ll have a very good chance of living another long and happy life.
I would say that the best way to avoid regret is to not do something you regret.
I know, I know. It’s the way that we’re wired. We’re meant to repeat a certain behavior over and over again, but there’s also a very real possibility that we may not even realize that we’ve already done it repeatedly. This is called unconscious repetition.
Its also called “stereotype threat” and it happens when we’re afraid that our current behavior will get us caught in a situation that is too severe to survive, so we start to act out as if weve already committed the crimes.
You can’t really regret your past deeds, because that’s the thing we all want to avoid. We want to be able to look at ourselves and say, “Well, I know I’ve done some bad stuff, but it wasn’t because I really wanted to, it was just to impress my friends.
It’s true what you think: When youre trying to do something, it’s usually about making it easier to do it or making it harder to do it. The main problem with doing something with your life and not just thinking about it is that you just don’t want to be doing it. You just don’t want to do it. Because there’s no point in getting caught with it.
I know that getting off the couch and doing something about our lives is not as simple as trying to look good, but I don’t think that should stop us from trying. That’s why I think it’s important that we get off the couch and do things that we have a passion for and not just the things that we like to do.
I think that there are four basic methods that you can use to avoid getting caught with your life.
