One of the more effective things I’ve found in my own life to help relax is yoga. I started taking it regularly about a year and a half ago and I think it really has helped me to calm down and feel less stressed, but I’ve also been doing it for a while myself and I see a lot of benefit in it.
Take it up a notch, and try to do as much as you can in a few minutes. Breathing can be extremely difficult and you should be breathing heavily, but not so heavily that you’re just breathing air. Also, when you’re trying to breathe properly, keep your nose open instead of closing it, which makes your breathing a little bit easier.
