Examples of interior monologue: “I am so so so so happy to be home,” “I am so so so so tired to be back home,” “I am so so so so so glad I got there on time.” These are examples of interior monologue.

The most common type of interior monologue is the “how about” type. It’s like the monologue in a novel, a “here’s what would happen if you could take over the world” kind of situation. One of the ways that you can take over the world is to have the person reading you describe the situation.

The people reading you are your audience. You’re supposed to be able to make people talk about what’s going on in your head and the things that you like and dislike. It’s not the same as a monologue, but it can be used in the same way.

Interior monologue is one of those phrases that you can use in either a passive or active sense. In the passive sense, you read the person and they talk and describe what youre doing. In the active sense, you ask them to describe the situation and their own thoughts and feelings about it.

I used the phrase above in an email with an employee who was complaining about her boss not giving her enough attention. I don’t care if you’re a rock star, a politician, a lawyer, a doctor, or a salesperson, you can use your interior monologue to be the most entertaining person in your office. When you’re that entertaining, the people who work with you won’t be able to focus on their work.

Interpersonal relationships are incredibly difficult to maintain. We can talk about it in such a way so that everyone feels like they are having a good time. And we try. Unfortunately though, when we get into the habit of doing this, it leads to a whole bunch of unhealthy interactions. People will talk about themselves and how things are going in such a way that they will eventually end in the same way that they started, often ending up with a lot of drama, frustration, and anger.

When you can’t talk about your work, you become your own worst enemy. When you’re not in a good mood, you avoid talking about your bad day, and try to hide it. You feel like you’re in a constant state of being on your own. It’s hard to be around people when you’re not having a good time.

When you are having fun, you want to talk about your day. It has to be as fun as possible, so you can have fun with it. If your work is boring, you will talk about it. And when you are having a good time, you want to talk about your work.

It’s almost like it’s a subconscious thing for you to be constantly on your own. We all have bad days, and the more of them we have, the worse we feel about ourselves. You may want to talk about your day, but if you don’t have fun, you feel like you’re no longer having fun.

This is called internal monologue. But it is also the act of talking about your work. Some people talk about their day for the sole purpose of talking about their work. They do this to get their work out, and then they talk about how much better they feel that they did it.
