Our brains go through a number of levels of consciousness and self-awareness. We are aware of ourselves as a person, as a community, as an organization, and as a nation. These are the levels of awareness that I am referring to.
In the last couple of years I’ve been seeing more and more media and technology pop up which makes the idea of “non-consciousness” seem to be one more thing to add to the ever expanding list of things we don’t know. The problem is that the level of awareness isn’t fixed. Even after a person dies they are still alive, they still have emotions, they still feel pain.
This is an interesting point. I think that we often get caught up in the idea that the world is perfect and that there is no other life, or that the idea of death is just to be left alone. To put it more bluntly, I think that we are in a constant state of denial about our own mortality. It’s not hard to see that a lot of people who are in the process of dying are still living on in a way.
Well, I am going to go ahead and say that there is a lot of suffering and death in the world. Sure, there is a lot of suffering and death in the world, but it is not the only thing. There is also a lot of suffering and death in the world that is much worse than anything we can describe, and it is much more prevalent. For example, I know many people who have had car accidents or have been shot.
The problem with these kinds of events is that the trauma and pain that people feel during these life-changing events is so deep that it is hard to process. The reason this is worse than other types of death is because it is far more widespread. The reality of suffering and death can be hard to come by because so many have an experience that is similar to the one you have, but there is no way to tell if it is a coincidence.
In recent years, I have seen a huge rise in instances of people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of events that they experienced prior to their car accident or being shot. One way to combat this is by increasing awareness of the symptoms of PTSD. By doing so, one can use these symptoms to help with healing. I have personally seen a dramatic improvement in my PTSD symptoms after I went to an educational presentation by a counselor.
If your car accident or being shot did not really cause you PTSD, how else could it have? I have seen many people who have experienced traumatic events but are unable to tell a psychologist or psychiatrist where the stress originates, or feel it’s still a part of them. The fact is, people who have been through traumatic events are still capable of creating their own stress. They have to have been traumatized. I can show you that in my own life.
For many people, the idea of being able to tell a doctor or psychologist that they have been traumatized is a very scary thought. When I was in high school, I had a friend who lost his job, and he eventually got fired from a job that he had worked at for 2 years. I saw the look on his face when he finally knew that he was going to get fired.
A lot of people find it incredibly hard to tell when traumatic events are actually being inflicted on their emotional self. The most common traumatic event in the world is when someone leaves your house or your family. The reality is, they have no memory of where they were when that happened. We can’t. We can’t help it.
There are tons of reasons why we can’t help it. The most common one is that we just haven’t dealt with the emotional trauma. We have all the trauma, we’re just not aware of it. The truth is, you can’t help it. You can’t tell it’s happening, you can’t do anything about it. You can’t go on like normal people.
