I have been a longtime believer in the power of the English language to reflect a culture. English has a particular way of speaking that is not so often spoken in other languages, and it is a wonderful language to share. With that in mind, I encourage you to check out the English corpus you can find at www.english.upenn.edu.

I feel like the English corpus is the single best thing I’ve seen from Penn State. It is one of the few sources where you will find a large quantity of words that were actually used in a given period of time. As you can see in the image below, we’ve already got a great deal of words from the early 1700s.

A lot of words we have in the English corpus were actually used in some other period of time, and our research is showing that people tended to use words from their own language when they were in period of time, which is just awesome.

The other reason that the English corpus is awesome is that it is a list of words that weren’t used recently. It has examples of words that were used a few times, but were completely unused by people in general. For example, the word “cougar” is actually used more than once.

One of the many reasons why the English corpus is awesome is that is contains words that our brains have a hard time remembering. For example, even though we’ve been using the word cat for thousands of years, we are very bad at remembering the word cat. On the other hand, we have to remember the word cat while writing this sentence, and we also have to remember the word cat while writing this sentence. This sentence is much easier to remember, so it’s awesome.

Another reason for the awesome is that is has a lot of words. It includes words from the past, present, and the future. For example, we use the word “pregnant” in the past, and now we are pregnant. If we didn’t include the word “pregnant” in the past, we would probably say “we are pregnant” or “I am pregnant”. You can find the complete list of words here.

This is an easy test: Pick the best word in the sentence, and see if you know it.

This sentence has many words. The first word is the most important. If we use the word pregnant, we are in the past. I am pregnant. The second word is present. We are in the present so today is the first day of the week. The third word is in the future. We are in the future so I will be pregnant.

There’s also a corpus of contemporary american english, which is like the complete dictionary of American English. It is one of the largest dictionary collections in the world. It’s hard to imagine there are so many words we don’t know. Here’s a list of the most common words, with their frequency of occurrence in the corpus.
