I’m going to continue to refer to it as a “Windows 10” computer because I don’t want you to think it’s a Windows 10 computer or I’m just being a dick. Just because it’s a windows 10 computer, doesn’t mean that I have to use it, because it doesn’t even run Windows 10. It runs Windows 7 and Windows 8.
This is an important point. Windows 10 does not run on a Windows 7 or 8 operating system. Not even Windows 8.1. In fact, Windows 8.1 has been so buggy that Microsoft is considering completely dropping the compatibility layer it uses to run Windows 8.1 software. I know that’s a stretch, but it’s still true.
Well, this is where the “windows only” meme comes in. You can run Windows on any Windows 7 or 8 PC, but you need a Windows 10 PC to actually run Windows 10. You can run Windows 10 on a Windows 8 computer, but you need a Windows 7 or 8 computer to run Windows 7 or 8 software. If you had Windows 10 on an 8 computer, you could run Windows 7 software. But you dont have to.
It really is a shame because I really like windows 7. I used it for my first computer. I used it because it was my first computer and I wanted to try it out. But now I have a Windows 7 PC that I really like and I would rather continue to use it than go back to my 8 computer. It is sad that we have to support 7.
It’s not really a bad thing to support version 7 of the company. It just means you’re supporting an older version of the company. Microsoft actually offers support for Windows 7 on 8 computers for a small fee. As you may have noticed, the version 7 support is only available on computers running Windows 7.
One more thing about Windows 7 (and I think it is pretty much a Windows 7 version, if not the same as Windows 7.1). It is not compatible with Windows XP. If you need to run Windows XP on a Windows 7 PC, you can get a copy of Windows 7 professional or Windows 7 ultimate. These versions have the same features as Windows 7 and are compatible with Windows 7.
It is definitely an interesting story. I don’t know if you can get an XP copy, but you can probably get a free trial copy for Windows 7. I have no idea why it’s free. So I will give you the version of Windows 7 that comes with Windows 10.
Microsoft has been trying to get the Windows 10 beta out to people for awhile now, and if you want to try them you can get a trial copy for Windows 7 Pro, for Windows 7 Ultimate, or for both. You can also get a free copy of Windows 7 if you’re on a paid upgrade plan with your computer. To be clear, there is no way to get a free trial version of Windows 7, Windows 10, or Windows 10 Pro with Windows 7.1.
So for a few months this was going to be an issue. But with the release of Windows 10, Microsoft has fixed the issue, so I’m going to go ahead and assume that you know everything there is to know about this and are getting Windows 10 anyway. If you want to get a free trial version of Windows 7 or Windows 7 Pro, Windows 7 Ultimate, or both, go ahead and sign up on the Microsoft website or at the official Windows 7 website.
However, you are going to have to wait until October 27th or 28th to get a free Windows 10 Pro from the company, and that won’t be the case for everyone until then. The free Windows 10 Pro will be available on October 26th, and Windows 10 won’t be free until October 27th or 28th.
