A lot of people make a point of being on an “alert” for things that they do not fully understand. I like to say that I am aware of a million things, but I don’t know any of them. I also don’t know what my purpose is, nor do I know what my purpose is. In other words, I don’t know what I’m here for.

What I mean is that it really is amazing when people, even those who are aware of the things they do not understand, actually take the time to find out what they are on alert for. It is a good thing, and I personally think it is a good idea. I find it a bit disturbing when people who make a point of being extremely alert for things they do not fully understand come across as smug about it.
If you look into it, we have all played with our brains in a similar way, but we are all aware of the idea that if you are not fully aware of what you are on alert for, then your brain will not be fully aware of it either. It is a good thing, and I think it is a good idea.
