This has been a very interesting week for me as I’ve been getting ready to start a new business. It’s been challenging, exciting, and humbling in equal measure. It’s been hard because I’ve made some decisions without a lot of clarity and I’ve made some decisions that were really difficult to implement.
I feel like Ive been in a bit of a business crash course because Ive been trying to figure out how to put together a brand new business. Its been very hard, and Ive learned a lot about business this week.

Thats true. Ive had a pretty long and successful career, and Ive made enough that I can now live on my own and retire. And I like it. I like that I work hard for what I want, and that I have the money to do so. I dont think I would have made it in the past without it, but I still do.
The problem is that because of the constant pursuit of things that seem to be “wrong” in the eyes of the world, it takes a long time to earn enough money to live on your own. Although it’s possible to just make it work, there are some things that are just too hard for a person to do on their own. Like, for instance, a lot of people do it wrong.
