So for the last two weeks, I have been doing a lot of cross-country skiing. It started out as a simple one-week trip, and now it has turned into a full-time sport. To say I am tired is an understatement. It is an exhausting activity, the kind of exercise that would normally tire most people out, but I am not one of those people.

I’ve done one of my best days ever today on the slopes, and I’m not even complaining. I’m just tired.

The problem is that when you are exhausted you tend to forget that you are exhausted. This isn’t really a problem as long as you can remember that you are tired. When you are out cold in the snow, you tend to forget that you are cold, and this is exactly what happens to me.

To this day, I still have a hard time remembering that I am tired. One of the biggest reasons I find it difficult to remember that Im tired is because my body actually remembers. The body remembers not only the fact that we were tired, but also any physical effects we have had on the day. It has to be that way because otherwise you would just drop dead the minute you woke up.

The reason why it is hard to remember that we are tired, is because we don’t actually remember being tired. We are so far gone into sleep that we don’t remember being tired. The body remembers only being tired. We have to wake up the body’s forgetfulness. Sleeping is the body’s way of reminding itself of its memory, but we need to wake the body up, the same way we need to wake up a car in the morning.

The body is so familiar with sitting still for a long period of time that we do not have to think about it too much.
