It was always a question of, “Why did the author write the book this way?” This is my favorite series based on the plot twist. I find the twists interesting and thought-provoking and the characters and the story itself interesting.
The author of the book, who is also the author of the series, has this to say about the plot twist: “I wrote this book about a year ago, and I thought the twist would be interesting. I was in my early twenties when I had a near-death experience that opened my eyes to how important memories are.” The author had a near-death experience, which is the sort of thing that people might need to hear.
I’ve heard horror stories about people not only having flashbacks of events that they had forgotten about, but also about having a sudden memory about what they had done in the past. That’s not to say that people aren’t aware of the importance of memories, but they may not think they are that important. I’ve heard it said that people can remember anything from a nightmare, to a moment they saw on TV, to even a memory of the people they knew and loved.
Its a weird phenomenon, but I can still recall a vague memory of having seen my grandfather in a dream, but I just wasn’t paying attention and he didn’t show up until a few weeks later. The other thing that can happen to people is that they have a sudden memory of something that happened, but they forgot about it. A person can look back over a few years and remember what they had done, but not a few weeks later.
I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical about this theory, having never heard of a person that can have vivid memories of something that has happened to them. But it does have a nice ring to it. Maybe its what we all have in the back of our heads, but we just dont remember how we got there.
The theory is that all you have to do to get a vivid memory is to remember the exact details of whatever it was that happened to you. For example, say your first memory is that you were in a public place at a certain time and you had a moment of intense pleasure. Say you were 18 and it happened in the middle of the night. You remember the exact details, including the exact time that it happened.
For our own part, we’ve never been sure what our memories are like, but we can’t help but think they’re more vivid than we are, especially when we’re stuck in them. We feel that the exact details we’ve been able to recall are actually a part of us, more than just a mere collection of random thoughts. The reality for us is that we’re more like a book than we’re like a memory.
I’ve always thought of myself as a people pleaser, so the events of Blackreef could not have come at a worse time. We’re dealing with a group of people who are at war, and its time to get into the fight with as many people as possible. One of the most important things on our list of things to do is to get some of the Visionaries to join us.
You can only fight so many times before they decide that they need to join you, and then you can deal with them all at once. That doesn’t mean you can’t talk to them, though. While the visionaries are in a state of suspended animation, they can still hear you, and can even be persuaded to join your cause.
Okay, so there’s a lot going on in Deathloop. But it’s the story of a few Visionaries who have been mysteriously imprisoned on a beach that has been cursed by some sort of evil. The most fun part of the game is actually playing as Colt Vahn. A time-looping stealthy badass, Colt’s an expert on stealth and is the only one who can defeat Visionaries. He just has a knack for killing them quickly and without making a sound.
