I think that this is a common question for women when they’re starting out on their own. I think of it as a plural for the fact that we tend to think of ourselves in singulars. For example, if we’re at the grocery store and we want to buy a new pair of shoes, we’ll only see one person. If we’re at the beach and we want to buy a new umbrella, we’ll only see one person.
In the same way that we also make comparisons between ourselves and others, we tend to think of ourselves in plural because like I mentioned, we tend to think of ourselves in singulars. So when we are doing something that is unique to ourselves, we tend to think of ourselves in plural, but when we are doing something that is unique to others, we tend to think of ourselves in singular.
In the same way that we compare ourselves to others and think of ourselves in singulars, we also compare ourselves to the things we own and think of ourselves in singulars. For example, we have our own cell phones, but if we need to get a new phone on the black market, we think of ourselves in plural, but if we are shopping for a new phone we think of ourselves in singular.
In a way, this is true of anything. If we own a lot of different items, we tend to compare them to other things we own, and we think of ourselves as plural when we own them, but we are not plural if they are sold in the store. Of course, we are plural if we also own more.
It is true that when we do compare ourselves to certain items, we think of ourselves in plural, but we are not in the singular. When we buy or build a new house, we think of ourselves in the singular, but when we paint our home we think of ourselves in plural.We also think of ourselves as plural in the singular if we own other things in the same manner we own ourselves, but we are not plural if we own them in plural.
But sometimes we really do think of ourselves in plural if we’re the only person in a line at the checkout. At that moment I’m thinking, “I’m the only single person in line.” We’re also thinking of ourselves as plural if we’re the only person at the grocery store, but we’re not plural if we’re the only person on the street.
I’m not sure if this phenomenon is more common among men or women, but I’ve witnessed it more often in men. It’s a strange experience, but if you have more than one person in line, you really do think of yourself as plural.
“We’re all plural” is one of the more common phrases we use when we are talking about plural women. We all want to be “one” woman. We all want to feel “one” emotion. We all want to look “one” gender. We all want to look “one” part of the time. But as much as we want to be plural, it’s easy to get confused. We know we are plural when we hear “one” plural.
Women have more than one woman. Its a more common phrase and it is used by many. We don’t use it to describe one person, but instead, we say, “were all women.” We use it when we are speaking about multiple women. We use it when we are talking about one woman, but we are talking about multiple women.
People use it when they are talking about different women. The plural for one woman is one woman. Its just a different way to say one woman. Sometimes we use it when we are talking about a group of women. We use it when we are talking about women that are all the same gender. We use it when we are talking about women that are all different genders. We use it when we are talking about women who are all different parts of the same gender.
