When giving a speech, we find ourselves speaking words of wisdom, or thoughts about what we would like to say, but can’t because we don’t get the words. In the process of giving a speech, I have learned a lot about giving and receiving. To give a speech, I have to do a lot of mental work that I hope is all worth it. I have learned that when I give a speech, I have to be mindful of my words and the audience.
When giving a speech, the audience, or at least a part of it, can be a group of people rather than a single person. The audience is the group that we are speaking to. However, I have found that in a speech, the listener or audience is also a part of the speech. As a speaker, I am constantly aware of what I am saying and how it will be received.
I’ve realized that giving a speech doesn’t really matter if I don’t listen to what is said. I am the one who has to be listening. I am also the one who has to be speaking, which means that I have to be thinking ahead of what I am going to say, and making a note of it during the speech.
That way, we are aware that we are giving a speech. And that is what makes it a good speech, anyway.
In the same way that we can see the symbol of the word, we can also see the symbol of the word. Every symbol in the world is an expression of a concept, and the symbol of a concept can be a symbol for many different things. Yeah, it’s like giving someone a question they don’t know the answer to. And then they can give you two, three, or more answers. Not good.
