I can totally relate to this. I have a lot of writing to do; I’m tired, stressed, and overwhelmed with writing. It’s not that I don’t have a lot to do but I just don’t know how to get there.

There’s a reason why there’s a million different writing apps out there.

There are two things that seem to work in tandem to prevent writers from getting blocked on Vandermeer. First is the fact that the game is not interactive. You can start a game, but it doesn’t have to interact with you. This way, writers don’t have to wait for a message, and can just write. The second aspect is that Vandermeer is designed for the player. You don’t have to wait for a message.
I know that Vandermeer is a board game, but still, its not a very interactive game. It can also be used as a storytelling tool, but when youve got a full day to write, its best to just take the time to think about what you want to say. Vandermeer can also be used to prevent writers from getting blocked on their project, because it helps you figure out what you want to write about and if you want to write something specific.
I’m sure there are a lot of other things you could use it for, but this is my favourite use it for. I’ve written about this time a few times in my life, so it was the perfect thing for me to use.
