Most fables are short stories, so they are great for those who enjoy reading short stories. However, they can also be told to tell a longer story. It is hard to say, exactly what story each of the fables has, but I personally enjoy fables written by A. A. Milne.

The lesson is that life is too short to waste time wishing for the impossible. It is also important to understand that stories are not stories of happy endings. We need to learn to accept that we’re not going to go about our lives enjoying our lives but accepting that we have to take risks.
In other words, we need to learn to accept that everything is, at one point, a fable. A fable is supposed to be a story that leads to a happy, not a sad, ending. And while we do need to learn to accept that life is, at one point, a fable, we also need to understand that sometimes our fables are not going to help us achieve our goals.
