People with self-awareness can also be very self-aware of their actions. For example, if I were to walk up to you and say, “I’m going to be your manager for a month.” you would most likely say, “Oh, ok, cool.
For most people, that statement would be interpreted as a request. They would be looking for a job, or they would be trying to impress you. For the self-aware, it’s a statement that’s very clear, but it’s still a statement.
This is why when a self-aware person says “Im going to be your manager for a month,” they are actually saying they are looking for a job or trying to make you feel good or even trying to convince you. This is why it’s so important to say the words “I’m going to be your manager” in any situation, but especially in the first sentence.
The self-aware person might, for example, be saying “I am going to be your manager for a month.” This sounds like an automatic statement. However, when you say it like this: “I am going to be your manager for a month, and I’m going to be so awesome that you won’t even know” you are saying that you are going to be a great manager.
