This is a theme that I’ve seen a lot in the media. It’s really easy to get caught up in the “good vs evil” narrative and feel the need to push your moral compass to the side and do something bad. I really don’t think this is the case and I think it is a bad thing that we do this. I think the idea of “good” and “evil” are more a product of people’s brains than anything else.
I think it is important to find a middle ground, and I think this is a very easy way to do it. I also think we should be cautious about pushing too hard because it can cause us to forget that we arent good person and that we have a certain amount of bad in our lives. I think we have a kind of “good vs evil” tag that we can use to remind us that that feeling is not always there.
I’m not sure what the difference is between good and evil, I think that it is more along the lines of, “do you want to be the bad guy?”. Evil people always want to do bad things, bad people always want to do good things, and then we have a very gray line between them. There’s a lot of stuff in the trailer that is pretty good, but there are also a lot of awful parts. You can feel the evil emanating from the guy who’s the head of Blackreef’s Security, and you can feel the evil of the Visionaries being locked into one repeating day. But the trailer also emphasizes how evil we can become if we don’t recognize our own evil.
We’re not just talking about evil people that we dont like, we’re talking about evil people that we dont know how to look at.
I like the bad parts of the trailer. But the good parts are a bit different. What we get to see, is that the evil in this trailer is not the same evil as the evil in the game. They both have the same goal, but you can tell that this evil has a little more control over it.
