One of the ways that I have personally found to help me to be more aware of myself is to have an intense habit of looking at movies. I mean, I don’t watch the same movie over and over or read the same book over and over because I know I’m not watching a movie or reading a book. I don’t have to look at myself in the mirror every day because I’m not judging myself.
There are many different kinds of movies that are allowed to be viewed by adults, but they are the ones that I have found most effective at giving me a sense of safety. It is a funny thing that I try to be the one who doesn’t think about what a movie is supposed to be about.
The 9xmovie is one of those films that I saw on my school’s DVR and that I am so lucky to have such a great DVR. It is a comedy that is supposed to be about a family that has a huge fight over one small thing. I mean, come on. A movie about a family. That’s funny. But it isn’t, because the movie is only funny if you dont know the movie’s plot.
When I started watching 9xmovie I thought it was funny but apparently I didn’t. Not because I don’t really know people who can joke at the movies, but because I was trying to see the movie and I didn’t get the joke. The jokes arent funny at all.
I think the reason for 9xmovie’s hilarity is that the movie is told by a family. And the joke is that the family will have a big fight over something that is not actually something that is actually really important. But the joke is not the reason for the fight, because that fight isnt funny. Instead, the fight is about something that is NOT funny and that makes the movie even funnier. Which is just so ridiculous.
