Thank you, Ty! As you know, I’m a huge fan of this podcast and want to share some of my favorite things you said on the show. So, here is my top three most favorite things you said.

The other two things I love are the one about how I feel like a slave to my online friends and the one about how I feel like a slave to my online friends.
We all feel like a slave to our online friends. We all feel like we are the only ones who have any power over our actual lives; all we have to do is be aware enough to get the right online friends. This is especially true for those who are currently in the process of building our online presence. When you are building your online presence, you are actually building your online friends. You don’t want to be the only one to post on your page.
One of the problems with online friendships is they can be really shallow. Like, you can literally get to know people really quickly, but it’s still a shallow friendship. Like there is a friendship with your online friends and everyone is really into you, but you have no real interactions with them. It becomes more like someone is always texting or checking in on you. But that’s not okay.
I hate texting people. I hate being on a one-on-one. I hate being able to check in or text someone. But I think it’s important to have an online one-on-one friendship because its more of a virtual relationship. Like you can actually have all of your friends hear your voice, and you can talk to them about anything you want.

I guess you could call it a virtual relationship, but you can actually have that online because we have our own voice. We can talk to each other, but we can also see each other, communicate with each other, and all with the use of technology.
